Equalbase has signed a tenancy agreement with global logistics provider Schenker for 830,000 square feet of space in its Phase 1 development at 103° in Sunway City Iskandar Puteri, Johor. This lease covers an entire warehouse, one of three currently under construction.
103° is the first Free Commercial Zone within the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ) and is co-owned by Equalbase and Sunway Group. The project spans over 5 million square feet across four phases and is set to go live in the first quarter of 2026.
Nicholas Bischoff, CEO of Equalbase, highlighted the long-standing relationship with Schenker, built on collaboration, innovation, and sustainability. He emphasized that the tenancy agreement at 103° reflects their shared vision for next-generation logistics solutions and business advancement in a strategically positioned, future-forward facility. Located just 5km from the Singapore-Malaysia Second Link Bridge, this carbon-neutral facility is expected to enhance cross-border logistics and regional distribution.
Catherine Soo, CEO of Schenker Singapore and Malaysia Cluster, stated that Johor is central to driving their Singapore-Malaysia cluster strategy forward. She expressed their commitment to collaborating with real estate partners who share their core values of sustainability and engineering excellence.
Schenker’s expansion to 103° strengthens its supply chain operations in Asia, positioning the facility as a hub supporting industries such as automotive, semiconductors, FMCG, and third-party logistics.
