Empowering Investment: UN ESCAP Concludes Private Sector MSME Development Program for Central Asia

Today the United Nations ESCAP trade, investment, and innovation team successfully concluded our private sector MSME development program, aimed at empowering leading digital companies from Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Tajikistan. This initiative focused on internationalization, market access, investor targeting, and refining value propositions, giving these companies the tools to thrive in global markets.

Today’s session marked a key moment, with companies pitching to investors to secure capital for growth. The program, which began in June with an intensive two-day training in Baku, was followed by three online sessions to help participants refine strategies, value propositions, and investor decks. These sessions prepared the companies for confident investor presentations.

This initiative represents a major milestone in supporting regional digital businesses, equipping them with tools and guidance for investment attraction.
